Joseph P. (Joe) Durham, Jr. was born in Dawson, Georgia in 1978. He graduated magna cum laude from Valdosta State University in 2000, and then attended Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2003. Mr. Durham was a member of the Moot Court Board, the Mercer Client Counseling Team and the Advanced Writing, Research, and Drafting Program. Upon graduation from law school, he returned to Southwest Georgia.

Mr. Durham’s practice is devoted to civil litigation and trial practice with an emphasis on professional negligence, personal injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Durham also has a significant divorce and family law practice. Over the years, Mr. Durham has represented clients is all parts of Georgia.

Joe Durham is a member of the Dougherty Circuit and American Bar Associations, and the State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Durham previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Foodbank of Southwest Georgia and he regularly donates his time and expertise to a number of charitable organizations. In 2008, Mr. Durham was named one of Southwest Georgia’s “40 under 40.” Mr. Durham has been recognized as a “Rising Star” and “Top Lawyer” in the fields of medical malpractice and personal injury litigation for 2011 – 2018 by several different organizations and publication including The Atlanta Magazine, Super Lawyers, and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Mr. Durham is the father of identical triple boys.
