About the Mitchell County Superior Court
Georgia’s general jurisdiction trial court is the Superior Court, which handles various cases, including felony cases, divorce proceedings, equity cases, and matters that involve a jury. As an example, If an individual is charged with a misdemeanor or a traffic violation but requests a jury trial, the case will be transferred to Mitchell County Superior Court.
