Two people were killed in two separate fatal motorcycle accidents in Georgia, which occurred in the space of three-and-a-half hours on Thursday, March 11.
The first accident happened about 1:30 p.m at the junction of Emery Highway and Womack Street in Macon. The victim has been identified as 68-year-old motorcyclist Frank Blake.
The sheriff’s office said the motorcycle and a car collided but provided no further details about how the accident happened.
Blake and his 41-year-old passenger Kendyl Warren were taken to the Medical Center, Atrium Health Navicent.
Blake subsequently died from blunt force trauma while Warren is said to be in stable condition. The unnamed driver of the car didn’t sustain any injuries.

Meanwhile, investigators in Clayton County are probing a wreck that resulted in the death of 35-year-old Kareem Ian Davis.
This accident, which also involved an SUV, took place shortly before 4 p.m. on Tara Boulevard. It resulted in the road being closed for almost five hours.
The driver of the SUV was injured and taken to a hospital.
Police have not indicated who was at fault for the crash and it is not known if any charges will be filed.
